I love working in Recruitment and helping people every day to find work. Part of my job includes helping candidates with their cv’s, advising them of roles I think would suit them and helping them to prepare for their job interviews with Employers. I’ve worked with lots of young people who didn’t know where to start with job searching and say they had no idea what to do after leaving School and I’ve loved helping them so much that I decided to create this course to share with you!

Hi, I’m Carla :)

I am a London based Recruitment Consultant who has created this online course to fill the knowledge gap between young people preparing to leave Education and going out into the world to find work. It's my passion to help you to become confident in searching for and securing employment after leaving Education, as many people are leaving School, College or University with no idea how to do this!

Even if you think you didn't get amazing exam results and have little previous work experience, I can help you to identify your unique skills and strengths, show you how to show-case these on a cv, give you tips on how to up-skill yourself from home and teach you how to be confident and perform well at interviews.

With over 5 year's experience working in Recruitment, I know what Employers are looking for and I can advise you on how to present yourself in order to give you the best chance of being hired. In the past I have run Employability Courses for young job-seekers through the Job Centre and I have worked with young people placing them into Apprenticeship positions. I am also a Mentor for Teens with an NVQ Level 3 in Counselling for Children & Adolescents.

I love sharing what I’ve learned throughout my career and I look forward to providing you with lots of helpful tips and advice on how to stand out from the crowd when searching for and applying for work :)
